(IraqiNews.com) Iraqi Ambassador to the United States Lukman al-Faily will speak in the talk entitled “U.S.–Iraqi Relations in the Age of ISIL,” at Duke University next Thursday.

David Schanzer, the associate professor of the practice of public policy and director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security, will moderate the discussion, according to the website DukeToday.

The event is sponsored by the American Grand Strategy’s program, Department of Political Science, Duke Islamic Studies Center and the Sanford School of Public Policy.

Noteworthy, Faily was appointed ambassador in the United States in 2013, and he previously served as ambassador to Japan and in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
