Iraqi FM mulls security pact with U.S. amb.

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received Mr. Ryan Crocker, U.S. Ambassador on October 28, according to the foreign ministry’s statement. “Both sides discussed the latest talks and discussions between the two governments on the status of American forces in Iraq, stances of both countries and next steps regarding this issue were discussed too,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com. ”Iraq’s relations with the neighboring countries and working committee’s mechanisms were discussed and the need for activating them. Iraqi government’s stance was discussed, towards the U.S. Military strike, against a location inside the Syrian territories and the need to contain the issue,” the statement also said.   SH (P)/SR     1
