Iraqi MoT, Kuwaiti delegation discuss launching Iraqi-Kuwaiti flights

Baghdad ( The Minister of Transportation Hadi al-Amiri expressed serious readiness to launch flights between Iraq and Kuwait directly without the need for third country.

A statement by the Ministry cited that “Amiri received, on last Wednesday, a Kuwaiti delegation headed by Ahmed Yousif Bahbahani, the head of the Kuwaiti Journalists Association, comprising a group of media offices’ officials and editors- in chief.”

“The Minister expressed his gratitude for the Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah for his stance towards the crisis of the airlines between both countries and his role in settling it,” it added.

“In answers to questions raised by some figures of the delegation about the mutual issues between the two countries, Amiri stressed the Iraqi side’s willingness to launch the Iraqi-Kuwaiti flights directly without passing through other country,” the statement concluded.
