Iraq’s National Coalition reserves right to raise judicial case against al-Iraqiya leader, its MP says

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Legislature in Iraq ’s National Coalition, led by Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has expressed “surprise by the statement of al-Iraqiya Coalition’s Leader, Iyad Allawi, who attacked Maliki and his al-Daawa Party, expressing intention to raise a judicial case against Allawi for his attacks.   “The statements by al-Iraqiya Leader, Iyad Allawi, who attacked al-Daawa Party and Prime Minister Maliki, have not been right at all,” Abbas Hmoud told IraqiNews.com news agency, expressing “surprise for the statements, which he considered as escalating the current crisis, at a time when the political process is in need for easing-up.”   Abbas pointed out that “al-Daawa Party has all the right to raise a judicial case against Allawi, because of his attacks against the Party and its Leader Maliki, calling at the same time for “dialogue and to sit on a round table to overcome all differences.”   Al-Iraqiya Coalition’s Leader, Iyad Allawi, had launched a strong attack against Prime Minister Allawi, the Chairman of al-Daawa Party, charging him with “lying, deception and distortion,” and having depended on “the foreigner and the support of Iran to become Prime Minister.”   SKH (IT) 463
