Iraq’s parliament resumes sessions

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi parliament on Tuesday will resume its sessions on Wednesday to discuss a number of draft laws, including the first reading of the Awqaf’s divans draft laws. The 21st session’s agenda includes the first reading of amending the civilian service draft law, the first reading of the bill to amend the parliament’s law and the second reading of the draft law of al-Shuhadaa foundation. The session will also witness the second reading of the draft law of Iraq’s joining to the Basel agreement on controlling the transfer of dangerous waste as well as the second reading of Iraq’ joining to the agreement to set up the Islamic committee of the International Crescent.
