IS accuses SLC of delaying endorsement of General Amnesty law draft

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate accused the State of Law Coalition of delaying the endorsement of the General Amnesty law draft.

The spokesperson of the IS, MP Haider al-Mulla, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The SLC is delaying the endorsement of the General Amnesty law draft, so, the IS sent a letter to the Iraqi National Alliance and the Kurdistani Alliance to show a clear stance over this issue especially after completing it by the Parliamentary Legal Committee.”

“This law draft is a public demand due to the presence of many victims in the Iraqi prisons and we made sure of the lack of the real procedures of dealing with them by the executive authorities,” he added.

“The sides that are covered by this law draft are determined by the legal committee that has completed it weeks ago,” he concluded.
