IS aims at withdrawing confidence from Maliki, not reformations, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Mahdi al-Khafaji, assured that “The Reformation Committee is preparing reformations to be submitted to the other blocs including the Iraqiya Slate and the Kurdistani Alliance.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Committee is preparing the proposals to be discussed by the members of the Iraqi National Alliance and reach agreement over them, and later, these proposals will be submitted to the other blocs.”

“The reformations of the INA are based on its commitments,” he added.

“This is the first step for reforming the political process,” he mentioned, stressing that “The IS aims at withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, rather than conducting the reformations.”
