IS describes accusations of some of its MPs of being marginalized as "Incorrect"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate described the accusations of the some of its MPs of being marginalized in the nomination of the membership of the Independent High Electoral Commission as “Incorrect.”

The spokesperson of the Iraqiya Slate, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The accusations of some of the MPs of al-Wasat Alliance of being marginalized in the nomination for the membership of the IHEC are incorrect, in spite of that the nomination process was based on confessionalism.”

“The Islamic Party and Iraq Unity within al-Wasat Alliance that is within the IS, had two candidates and we hoped to involve all, but they did not win,” she added, noting that “We do support al-Wasat Alliance as an important part of the IS.”

Earlier, two MPs of al-Wasat Alliance within the IS attacked the IS and stated that the nomination to the membership of the IHEC was based on “Individualism and for certain parties.”
