Jaafari receives UK’s ambassador to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Al Jaafari, received on March 22, 2015 the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Iraq, Frank Baker.

During the meeting, bilateral relations and prospects for developing them were discussed in addition to the regional circumstances in the region and the political and security developments in Iraq.

They also tackled the due visit of the British Foreign Secretary and its importance as an expression of the UK’s support to the Iraqi government in its war against terrorism.

Minister Jaafari appreciated the UK’s stances towards Iraq, confirming high interest in the visit of the British Foreign Secretary for the UK’s role in supporting Iraq in international forums. /End/
