Jaafary declines to attend conference of Turkish JDP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance Ibrahim al-Jaafary revealed that he “refused to attend the conference of the Justice and Development Party headed by the Turkish Prime Minister, Rajab Tayib Erdogan, because of the presence of the judicially wanted the Iraqi Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi at the conference.”

It is worth to mention that a number of Iraqis who were invited to attend the JDP’s conference decided to withdraw after they knew that Hashimi is going to attend it.

A statement by Jaafary’s office mentioned that “Jaafary congratulated Erdogan on occasion of holding the conference.”
