Jaafary, PUK delegation discuss preparations for national meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, received a delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, which is headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, on Tuesday.

A brief statement by Jaafary’s office cited “Both sides discussed the political updates as they exchanged the views over the preparations for the national meeting.”

Earlier, INA formed a committee for conducting political reforms by identifying the defects in the government and the political blocs’ performance and presenting solutions for them to prepare for holding the national meeting that President Talabani called for to settle the current crisis.
