Jaf calls parliament to form neutral committee to study Infrastructure law draft

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ashwaq al-Jaf, of the Kurdistani Alliance called the parliament chairmanship to form a neutral committee of economic experts to study the Infrastructure law draft.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said ” There are two sides want to apply this law draft, one is by the late payments and the second one is a different view that is negative one which makes the law draft included in the political disputes,” noting that “The parliament chairmanship has to form a neutral committee of economic experts to give their opinions over this law drafts because the members of parliament are not qualified to give opinions over it.”

“I think the neutral economic experts committee will settle this issue and state whether applying this law draft is positive or negative,” she concluded.

There are many tensions over the Infrastructure law draft because it deals with the late payments where some blocs considers it as a new crisis that will increase Iraqi debts.
