Jaf demands to stop offending Islam

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the parliamentary Committee of Human Rights, MP Ashwaq al-Jaf, of the Kurdistani Alliance condemned the offense which targeted the character of the Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) represented by a movie implemented by Copt extremists residing in the US.

She reported in a statement to IraqiNews.com ”This movie carries abuse for one of the biggest communities in the world, Muslims, and it is considered an obvious violation to them since the movie addressed the most important figure in Islam who is the Prophet Mohamed.”

She added that ”The beliefs of our religion prevent us from abusing any other religions because Islam respects all religions and beliefs,” stressing that ”It is necessary to stop the repeated attacks against Islam by these extremists.”

Jaf demanded all Governments to “Issue instructions which prevent such violations in the future since it is a clear provocation for the feelings of Muslims,” pointing that ”The Countries which consider itself sponsors for human rights should be aware that this violation is not acceptable and it has to be stopped immediately.” \
