Jihad rules out implementing 2nd phase of Governmental Reduction

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hasan Jihad, of the Kurdistani Alliance ruled out implementing the second phase of the Government Reduction,” assuring “The impossibility of suspending the parliament performance.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Government Reduction will not be implemented during the term of the current government and it may be implemented during the term of the next government.”

“The political disputes hurdled the endorsement of many law drafts,” he added, noting that “The government is not able to work without the parliament.”

Earlier, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Ali al-Allaq, called “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to conduct the second phase of the Governmental Reduction due to the pressures,” urging “Maliki to suspend the parliament performance.”
