Jobouri calls Kurdistan Region to re-consider its stance over deploying IA into all territories

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ahmed al-Jobouri, of the Patriots bloc showed his surprise over the stance of Kurdistan Regional Government related to preventing the Iraqi Army from entering the region to reach the Syrian borders in order to avoid any attacks to Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This issue is incorrect and the government of Kurdistan Region must re-consider its stance about it.”

“The responsibility of Defending all Iraqi borders is among the duties of the Central Government in cooperation with Kurdistan Region,” he added, noting that “It is not necessary to reject entry of the IA units to the territories of Kurdistan Region.”

Earlier, the office of the General Commander of the Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki, has announced on the 27^th of July, to spread the federal forces on the borders with Syria to avoid any troubles from the disturbed situation in Syrian, denying any intentions to target Kurdistan Region.
