Joburi describes scattering demonstration in Hawija as "Foolish"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Omer al-Jouburi, of Kirkuk province called to conduct an immediate investigation over braking in the demonstration area by the security forces to scatter the demonstrators, describing it as “Foolish and irresponsible.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday, he said “The security forces prevented us from visiting the demonstration under the justification of the security measures,” noting that “There is a political delegation that held a meeting with the security leaders where the results are not revealed yet.”

“The meeting indicated that there are unanticipated procedures regarding the demonstration,” he added, assuring that “The security forces broke in the demonstration by force and then tried to scatter the demonstrators.”
