Jouburi: Maliki instructs to bring former IA officsers back to service

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc, MP Qutaiba al-Jouburi, announced that “The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, instructed to bring the former Iraqi Army officers of Salah il-Din province back to service.”

In a press statement, he said “We have requested Maliki, during the meeting with him, to allow the former officers from Salah il-Din province to return to the IA, just like those officers from Nineveh province, and he accepted our request.”

“The officers who are included are those with ranks below Lieutenant General,” he added, assuring that “Maliki also allowed the office of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc to set lists for the names of the officers who wish to return to service.”

“Officers below Major rank will be returned to service immediately,” he pointed out, assuring that” The office will start receiving the officers’ requests next Saturday.”
