Jubouri: Kurds 1st loser from splitting from Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Omar al-Jubouri of the Iraqiya Slate pointed out that “The Kurds will be the first loser if they choose to split from Iraq for unreasonable causes.”

In a statement to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said Thursday “The best choice for the Kurds is to live united within the Iraqi People making use of the positive relations between the Arabs and the Kurds in Iraq.”

Jubouri added “Those who claim that Baghdad violates the Constitution should remember that the Iraqi constitution stipulates that (Iraq is a United Federal Republic) and the Federal Authorities are committed to keep the Unity of Iraq.”

“The Unity of Iraq is the responsibility of all Iraqis so we advise the Kurd leaders who attend international forums to convey positive image about Iraq and those who believe that Baghdad is behaving like a dictator should reconsider their believes,” he concluded.
