Jundiyani describes political tensions in Iraq as serious

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK that is headed by the Iraqi President, Jalal Talabani, described the current political tensions as serious.

The Spokesperson of the PUK, Azad Jundiyani mentioned in a statement that “The PUK rejects the sectarian disputes and strife,” noting that “The PUK and the Kurdish sides support the consensus process and the peaceful co-existence among the Iraqi social components.”

He pointed out that “The current political tensions are serious and if they will not be addressed then they will lead to sectarian strife.”

“The road map to resolve the current crisis is to correct the path of the rule and listen to the others’ opinions and views,” Jundiyani concluded.
