KA MP criticizes political sides oppose withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ruz Mahdi, of the Kurdistani Alliance confirmed that “The history and the Iraqis will not forgive the sides which opposed the project of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This historical projects aims at saving Iraq and the democratic process through democratic means.”

“The people f Kurdistan Region will not accept any new dictator after succeeding in toppling the former regime,” he added.

“In the light of the current disputes and the crises, lack of services and the corruption, Iraq will not be away from the Arab Spring which resulted in changing the ruling regimes all over the Arab Region,” he concluded.

Earlier, the President Jalal Talabani assured that the number of the MPs who have signed a request to withdraw confidence from the Premier Nouri al-Maliki reached only 160 MPs which is less than the required number limited by 163.

The political sides which held a meeting in Erbil on last Sunday decided to send “A clarifying message to confirm that the signatures collected for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, are constitutionally suffesient and valid.

It is worth mentioning that the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, participated in a meeting in Nineveh to discuss the efforts for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
