KA: Reforms Proposal to settle crisis if it includes limiting terms of PM post

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistani Alliance expected that the Reforms Proposal, submitted by the Iraqi National Alliance, will settle the political crisis if it includes limiting the terms of the Prime Minister post.

The spokesperson of the KA, Muayad al-Tayib, stated to All Iraq News Agency (IraqiNews.com) “The project of investigating and withdrawing confidence from the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, is still active but goes slowly in addition to the Reforms Proposal which goes slowly as well because some blocs within the INA did not agree to what is mentioned in the Proposal in addition to the issue of limiting the number of the terms of the PM post.”

“If the Reforms Proposal included limiting the terms of the PM post into two terms only, it would be an acceptable settlement to the current crisis, but the State of Law Coalition, which is the strongest part of the INA, refuses this issue and keeps the crisis unsettled,” he concluded.
