Karboli, Hakim discuss prominent issues at national, regional levels

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of Hal Movement Jamal al-Karboli discussed, with the Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council Ammar al-Hakim, on Wednesday, the most important issues at the national and regional levels and their impacts on the Iraqi arena.

A statement by the Movement cited “Karboli and Hakim reviewed the means needed to consolidate the confidence and join forces in the political work among the sides of the political process and ways to support the project of the Political Reforms and how to dissolve the current political crises to move from space of disputes into a space of common work to serve the Iraqi citizens.”

“Both sides stressed the need to strengthen efforts to provide necessary services for the Iraqis affected by the violence in Syria and to offer humanitarian assistance for the Syrian refugees in recognition for gratitude presented by the Syrian brothers for the Iraqis during the sectarian violence that swept Iraq and threatened its security and stability,” the statement added.
