Khalidi urges to keep Diyala province away from political disputes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The rapporteur of the parliament, MP, Mohamed al-Khalidi, urged “The Iraqi Government and the parliament to keep Diyala province away from the political deals and disputes,” calling “To support its new Governor to serve its citizens, eliminating corruption and resettling the displaced families.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Government should support the new Governor and supply the services to citizens who suffered a lot from the lack of the services and the bad security situation.”

He called “The three Presidencies to cooperate with Diyala Provincial Council and its Governor to fight corruption which deprived the province from the services projects,” he continued.

“Diyala was among the prominent provinces in its security, economic situation and its agriculture as well as industry,” he concluded.
