Khalil describes Barazani’s absence in Najaf meeting as Normal

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mahma Khalil, of the Kurdistani Alliance considered the absence of the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, in Najaf meeting as “Normal because he sent the Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawis on behalf of him.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “In spite of Barazani’s absence in Najaf meeting, the meeting witnessed the presence of many high officials from the KA such as Shawis and Burham Salih to show the Kurds’ attitude.”

“The accusations by the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki to Barazani, for not giving a ministry to the Change bloc, are untrue and groundless,” he added, calling to “Avoid exchanging accusations and try to settle the pending issues.”

The political process witnesses complicated disputes between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition over not applying Erbil agreement and the council of the strategic policies.

The political leaders held a meeting on Saturday at the residence of the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, to discuss the political crisis after the end of the set time to Maliki to respond to the letter of Erbil meeting.
