Khuzayi, Indonesian Ambassador discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, and the Indonesian Ambassador to Iraq discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

A Presidential statement cited “Khuzayi received the Ambassador in Baghdad on Thursday and stressed during the meeting that the Iraqi current laws encourage the investment, calling the Indonesian companies to participate in rebuilding Iraq which is ruined due to the policies of the former regime.”

“Khuzayi expressed the Iraqi desire to upgrade bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, assuring that the relations did not witness any tensions during the last years,” the statement emphasized.

“The Ambassador appreciated the efforts of the Iraqi Government and praised the successes achieved by hosting the Arabic Summit and 5+1 meeting, expressing the support of his government for Iraq in all aspects,” the statement concluded.
