Kobler condemns Thursday bombings all over Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Iraq, Martin Kobler, condemned the bombings that took place in Baghdad and some other provinces on last Thursday.

A statement by United Nation Assistant Mission to Iraq quoted Kobler as saying “These attacks coincided with approaching Eid Al-Fitr in which the Iraqis are dreaming of peace and security after Ramadan Month.”

“I strongly denounce these attacks which violate the spirit of peace in the most sacred month for Muslims,” the statement concluded.

Baghdad and some other provinces witnessed terrorist attacks that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens and security elements on last Thursday.
