Kurdistan RegionG delegation arrives in Switzerland to participate in special conference of crimes of genocide
Erbil (IraqiNews.com) A delegation of Kurdistani Regional Government arrived in Switzerland to participate in the special conference to shed light on the genocide.
A statement by Kurdistan RegionG received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday cited “The delegation arrived in Switzerland to participate in the special conference that shed light on genocide and held in the European location of the United Nations in Geneva from the 19th to the 21st of September during the 21st regular session of the Human Rights Council.”
“The delegation comprises the Minister of Martyrs’ Affairs in Kurdistan RegionG, Aram Ahmed, the representative of Kurdistan RegionG, Hamid Darbandi, and the deputy head of the Foreign Affairs Department of Kurdistan RegionG, Karwan Jamal,” the statement added.
The statement quoted Jamal as saying “The purpose of this visit in to participate in the international conference of the genocide that was used against the Iraqi people by the previous regime.”
