Kurdistan RegionG denies reports over Barzani’s request to transfer MKO to Erbil

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Presidency of Kurdistan Region denied the reports which talked about “The request of the President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani to transfer the elements of the Iranian opposition Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Organization from Ashraf Camp into Erbil province.”

The spokesperson of Kurdistan Region’s Presidency Omid Sabah stated to IraqiNews.com “The Kuwaiti Newspaper (Siyasa) published an article on Tuesday depending on a Kurdish source that the President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani has requested to transfer the elements of the MKO from Ashraf Camp and Liberty Camp into Kurdistan Region.”

He stressed “We deny this groundless report.”
