Kurdistan RegionG expresses readiness to meet officials of Federal Government to settle pending issues over oil sector

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Natural Resources Ministry of Kurdistan Regional Government announced “Its readiness to meet officials from the Federal Government in Baghdad to settle the pending issues related to the oil sector.”

The member of the Oil and Energy Parliamentary Committee tasked to investigate the facts over oil exports from Kurdistan Region to Turkey, Awad al-Awadi, stated to IraqiNews.com “The Committee will host the Minister of Oil of the Federal Government to listen to the government’s views over this issue.”

“We hope this crisis to witness settlement soon if the two sides have real intentions,” he added.

“We should depend on the constitution and laws rather than resorting to the media statements launched over this issue,” he concluded.
