Kurdish Committee formed to conduct dialogues with FG over pending issues

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdish political sides announced “Forming a special committee tasked to conduct dialogues with the Federal Government over the pending issues between the two sides.”

A statement by Patriotic Union of Kurdistan quoted the head of the Kurdistani bloc within Kurdistan Regional Parliament, Suzan Shihab, as saying “During the meeting which was held in Erbil on last Monday, we have reached agreement over forming a committee that involves representatives for all the blocs within the parliament of Kurdistan and the Federal parliament in addition to a representative for Kurdistani Regional Government.”

“The committee will hold its meetings in the upcoming few days to identify its legal project,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the relations between FFG and Kurdistan RegionG witness tensions since months.
