Kurdish delegation shall be partisan, not governmental – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Kurdish Alliance MP disclosed today that the Kurdish delegation heading to Baghdad will comprise of all senior parties’ officials, pointing out that the delegation will conduct meetings with all political entities to solve pending disputes between Baghdad and Arbil. MP Firyad Rawandouzi told IraqiNews.com that the delegation will visit Baghdad within the coming few days, butt it shall be a party delegation, not governmental. The delegation will clarify the Kurdish view points to all parties, in the government or out, regarding the latest crisis between Baghdad and Arbil, in addition to the stand on Arbil agreement and the principles of the constitution, he added. Accordisng to Rawandouzi, the Kurds received positive remarks from Baghdad to solve pending issues and the implementation of Arbil agreement. Kurdish political entities stressed, in their meeting last Tuesday, the necessity to abide by the alliances and agreements that led to the formation of the present government and to shoulder full responsibility.
