Kurdish MP: Both Federal Government, Kurdistan RegionG need for political reforms

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed Kiyani of the Kurdish Change Movement called “The Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government to conduct the political reforms,” noting that “Both Governments needs political reforms.”

Kiyani told IraqiNews.com on Monday “It is necessary to launch political reforms in the Kurdistan Region Government and the Central Government too since the Central Government suffers political defects and problems that need to be addressed to build the Iraqi State on basis of citizenship.”

He stressed “The need to reform the performance of the Kurdistan Regional Government to adopt democracy and increase the partisanship in the security forces,” calling to “achieve independence of the Judiciary in the Region.”

He called “The Kurdistani political parties to avoid interfering in the Regional Government’s work.”
