Kurdish MP calls federal government to push Turkey, Syria, Iran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sirwan Ahmed Qader, of the Kurdistani Alliance called the federal government to push Turkey, Syria and Iran.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday “Iran and Turkey have to stop constructing the dams and release the water to the Iraqi territories that were damaged due to the policies of those countries that do not adhere to the Iraqi calls.”

“Some amounts of money of 2013 budget were allocated to construct some dams on the bank of Arab river of the Iraqi side and the Arab Gulf to prevent the spread of the salt water to the Arab river and to insure the navigation,” he added.

He called the government to avoid the comity of nations and keep pushing in order to increase the portion of the Iraqi allocation of water.”
