Kurdish MP denies alleged statements over Barzani’s withdrawal from Erbil alliance

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ruz Mahdi of the Kurdistani Alliance denied the statements attributed to him by a website over “Withdrawal of the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, from Erbil Alliance.”

He stated to Iraqi News Monday “These reports are groundless, since I have not given similar statements for any website or news agency.”

“Barzani adheres to his stance towards withdrawing confidence from Premier Nouri al-Maliki and he is committed towards the agreements recently concluded in Erbil with other political blocs over this issue,” he concluded.
