Kurdish MP described including exporting oil of Kurdistan Region in political disputes as Big mistake

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ashwaq al-Jaf, of the Kurdistani Alliance described including the issue of exporting the oil of Kurdistan Region within the political disputes as “Big mistake”.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she stated “This issue is not new one where we got used to have some accusations, but it will not hinder our oil strategy because it serves the Iraqi people.”

“According to the Articles (112,113 and 115) of the constitution, Kurdistan Region has the right to export its oil until endorsing the Oil and Gas law draft by the central government where we called to endorse it in order to settle this issue,” she added.

She pointed out “Including this issue in the political conflicts is a big mistake because the oil resembles 95% of the income of Iraq and including it in these conflicts means that there is a wrong administrational policy.”
