Kurdish MP resigns

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Kurdistan Parliament sources said today that MP Rafeeq Sabir resigned from the parliament for unknown reasons. The source told IraqiNews.com quoting head of the Kurdish bloc Suzan Khala Shihab that she “cannot confirm or deny the news”. On the other side, IraqiNews.com tried to contact MP Sabir, but in vain. MP Sabir headed Integrity Commission at the Kurdistan Parliament, thus he will be the second MP from the Kurdish bloc to resign during this session, following judge Rizqar Mohammed Ameen. The Kurdish bloc has 59 seat in the parliament which comprises of 111 seats . RM (TP)/SR233
