Kurdish MP: Talabani’s post needs political deal to be occupied

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Saeed Rasoul, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated that the post of the President, Jalal Talabani, needs a political deal to be occupied in case Talabani cannot resume his tasks.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Talabani is still alive and we hope him to recover soon and resume his tasks, but if he cannot, his post will need a political deal and it is a merit to the Kurds who must occupy this post.”

“The medical statues of Talabani prevented the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, from visiting him,” he concluded.
