Kurdish MP warns from collapse of political process in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hamid Bafi, of the Kurdistani Democratic Alliance headed by the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, warned from the collapse of the political process in Iraq.

He stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday “The ruling party in Iraq wants to continue the monopoly of the authority to control Iraq by discriminating and marginalizing the other constituents and awakening the parliament.”

“The chance is left to the ruling party in Iraq to preserve the political process and build Iraq for the interest of all the constituents in addition to adhering to the constitution,” he added, noting that “To provide the required services to the citizens, the government has to adhere to the political deals that formed the current government and cooperate with the local councils in the provinces and Kurdistan Region without violating the constitution.”
