Kurdish Parties to join Kirkuk PC elections as one slate

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdish Parties decided to join the elections of Kirkuk Provincial Council as one slate.

A source from the Kirkuk office of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan stated “11 Kurdish Parties agreed in a meeting held on Saturday to unify their stances concerning the upcoming elections of Kirkuk PC.”

“PUK, Kurdistani Democratic Party, Taghyeer Movement, Kurdistani Islamic Union, Islamic Group of Kurdistan and other Kurdish Parties participated in the meeting,” the source added.

“The UNAMI will hold a meeting in Kirkuk on next Sunday over the upcoming elections,” the source concluded.
