Kurdish president pays official visit to Iran

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani headed for the Iranian capital Tehran leading a high-profile delegation on an official visit to Iran, a media source said on Wednesday. “Barzani headed to Tehran on Tuesday night on a several-day official visit where he will meet with the Iranian president and senior officials to discuss means to boost relations between the two sides,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The visit was scheduled on Wednesday but the president traveled yesterday,” he said, without giving any reason.
