Kurdistan’s parliament to question premier, 2 ministers next week

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdistan parliament will question Prime Minister Barham Saleh, Interior and Peshmerga Ministers Karim Sinjari and Jaafar Sheikh Ali next week, Speaker Kamal Karkouki said on Wednesday. Speaking at a press conference, Karkouki said “we will invite the premier and interior and Peshmerga ministers next week to answer parliamentarians’ questions regarding the recent incidents and protests in Sulaimaniya, where a number of citizens were killed or wounded.” “We got the protestors’ demands through the commission formed by the parliament, which visited Sulaimaniya and met with the demonstrators in the past few days,” he added.
