Lakash denounces Tuz Khormato bombing

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohammed al-Lakash, of the Citizen bloc denounced the bombing that took place in Tuz Khormato district of Salah il-Din province.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “What is happening in Tuz Khormato is genocide and there is no government that can provide security for its citizens.”

Earlier, 34 Iraqi policemen were killed and injured when car bomb exploded in Tuz Khurmato district to the east of Tikrit, capital of Salah il-Din province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday “Car bomb blew up in Tuz Khurmato of eastern Tikrit and killed six policemen and wounded 28 others as well as destroying 12 houses and damaging four cars.”
