Larijani: Iraqi sides should help pass sensitive juncture

 

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday that leaving behind the sensitive juncture in Iraq requires contribution of Iraqi political and ethnic groups.Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari.Expressing satisfaction over taking office of the new Iraqi government, he called for bolstering unity among all Iraqi groups and underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran is to put its invaluable experience at the disposal of the new Iraqi government to overcome problems.Larijani said that the US administration statement that campaign against terrorists in Iraq and resolving the security crisis in Iraq will last several years indicated that they are masterminding a plot through raising the issue.The Iraqi foreign minister, for his part, thanked Iran’s assistance to the Iraqi government to deal with ISIL.The two officials discussed expansion of mutual relations and cooperation along with regional developments. /End/
