Lavrov Will Not Visit Kurdistan, Kurdish Sources Say

Arbil / IraqiNews.com: The programme visit of Russian Foreign Minister to Iraq does include a visit to Kurdistan, Head of Public Relation of Kurdistan Region said today. Falah Mustapha told IraqiNews.com that the visit agenda of Minister Serge Lavrov does not include Kurdistan, and will never visit it. Russian Foreign Minister arrived today in Baghdad, where he met Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zebari. Lavrov announced the readiness of his country to open a consulate in Basrah. RM (TP)/SR 529
