Local govt security administration is constitutional privilege – Hashimi

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The local governments’ internal control for their security is a constitutional privilege, Vice-President Tariq al-Hashimi said.   In a statement issued by his office, copy received by IraqiNews.com, criticized the way to deal with the security dossier which led to the idea that the provinces “should administer their internal security as a constitutional privilege in the present decentralized governmental system.   Tikrit city, center of Salahuddin province, witnessed yesterday two explosions which resulted in 15 killings, four cops among them, and 38 wounded.   RM (TP)/SR 843
