Maliki attends chieftains’ conference in Muthanna

MUTHANNA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Saturday will attend a chieftains’ conference on reconciliation and national unity in Muthanna province. “The conference is hosted by Jabeer al-Yasseri, a notable in the province who is known for his initiative to reunite Iraqi tribes,” the head of the preparatory committee of the conference, Ahmed al-Yasseri, told IraqiNews.com news agency.
