Maliki heads to Nineveh to hold CoMs meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, headed to Nineveh province with some of the ministers on Tuesday to chair the meeting of the Council of Minister in Mousl.

An informed source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “Maliki will hold the meeting of the CoM in Nineveh to discuss the obstacles that the local government of Nineveh is facing.”

Earlier, Maryam al-Rayis, the adviser of the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, stated “The CoM will hold its meeting on Tuesday in Nineveh to discuss the means of cooperation between the central government and the local government to perform the projects,” noting that “This meeting will be the same as those of Kirkuk and Basra provinces.”

MP, Mahdi Haji, of the Kurdistani Alliance revealed that “The Kurd Ministers will boycott the session of the Council of Ministers that will be held in Mosul on Tuesday.”
