Maliki: Holding CoM session in provinces aims at solving their problems

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) While heading the session of the Council of Ministers, the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed that “Holding the sessions of the CoM in the provinces aims at realizing their problems and solving them in addition to supporting the Local Governments to speed up services which the citizens need all fields.”

A statement by Maliki’s office received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “The issues related to services, Energy, Agriculture and irrigation fields were discussed during the session.”

“Maliki met the officials in the province to find out the needs of the province,” the statement concluded.

The Council of Ministers started its session in Dhi-Qar province on Tuesday.

Earlier, Maliki arrived at Imam Ali Air base accompanied by a number of Ministers to hold the session of the Council of Ministers in the province on Tuesday morning.

The Council of Ministers, previously, held three sessions in Basra, Kirkuk and Nineveh provinces to discuss the problems of these provinces.
