Maliki, Lieberman discuss bilateral relations

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Premier Nouri al-Maliki today received US Congressman Senator Josef Lieberman, a statement announced. The statement said that Premier Maliki stressed the necessity of developing bilateral relations based on joint interests and respect. On the other hand, Senator Lieberman called for more communication between the two sides in a manner that will enhance mutual understanding. The statement added that Senator Lieberman expressed “support for the Iraqi vision on the developments taking place in the region and how to deal with them”. RM (TP)/SR2681
