Maliki’s advisor confirms Mutleg’s participation in Council of Ministers session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Fadhil Mohamed, the Legal Advisor of the Premier Nouri al-Maliki confirmed “The participation of The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, in Tuesday session of the Council of Ministers.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Mutleg attended the session with the rest of the Ministers,” noting that “The session agenda involved discussing normal issues in addition to the latest developments in Iraq including the Iraq-Turkish bilateral relations.”

Earlier, MP, Qays Shather, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that “The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, participated in Tuesday session of the Council of Ministers.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he expressed his hope to “find a solution for the current political crisis after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr to end the disputes.”

Earlier, the Reporter of the Parliament, Mohamed al-Khalidi, announced on last Thursday that “The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, sent a request to the parliament to cancel his previous request to withdraw confidence from Mutleg.”

It is worth mentioning that Maliki met Mutleg at his office on last Tuesday.
